EMI Names Bertrand Bodson SVP/Global Digital Marketing

EMI MUSIC has appointed BERTRAND BODSON SVP/Global Digital Marketing, MI2N.COM reports. He will be responsible for leading and developing the company's global digital marketing strategy, starting JUNE 7th.
BODSON is a co-founder of social networking and viral marketing site BRAGSTER.COM and has launched and ran AMAZON.COM's DVD rental and subscription businesses in EUROPE. "BERTRAND will be a great addition to our marketing team," EMI Pres./Central Marketing and Catalogue division ERNESTO SCHMITT said. "He has operated in the digital space for most of his career, he is entrepreneurial and he has a strong track record of developing leading edge digital strategies and tools."

Also at EMI MUSIC, former EMI MUSIC-NORTH AMERICA SVP/Digital Strategy SYD SCHWARTZ has moved into a consultancy role with the company.
