Pandora Launches Ad Platform For iPads

STARBUCKS, LEXUS and BUDWEISER are about to debut advertising campaigns on PANDORA MEDIA's ad platform for its iPAD app. CNET.COM reports that the platform, much like APPLE's iAD, "will allow users and potential customers to view the interactive video and audio advertisements without leaving the music-streaming app."
PANDORA's in-app ads can be targeted to listeners based on their age, location and the music they like. For example, the STARBUCKS ads will let users build their own personal Frappuccinos online, which will create a radio station that tries to pair the music with their taste in coffee.
BUDWEISER's campaign will connect people with different summer music festivals that the brew maker is sponsoring.
