WCBS Tops WLTW In New York May PPM

The hits, past and present, were the big winners in the MAY PPM ratings in NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES  and DALLAS, while News/Talk reigned supreme in CHICAGO and SAN FRANCISCO. CBS RADIO Classic Hits WCBS-F overtook perennial market leader, CLEAR CHANNEL AC WLTW, in NEW YORK, while CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Mainstream KIIS/LOS ANGELES continued to lead LOS ANGELES, ahead of CBS RADIO Classic Hits KRTH.

CHICAGO remained a News/Talk town, as CBS RADIO News WBBM-A reclaimed the top spot from TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A. News/Talk stations took three of the top-four spots in SAN FRANCISCO, where CBS News KCBS held off ENTERCOM AC KOIT. Last but not leads heritage Top 40 KHKS led the DALLAS pack ahead of UNIVISION Regional Mexican KLNO and CBS RADIO Classic Hits
