George Strait Tribute To Air Sunday On GAC

Country artists will pay tribute to MCA/NASHVILLE star GEORGE STRAIT with the “GEORGE STRAIT - ACM Artist of the Decade special,” which is making its premiere on SUNDAY, JUNE 27th a 9p (ET) on GAC. The show was taped at the MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA in LAS VEGAS. 

The concert features a special appearance by GARTH BROOKS and performances by DIERKS BENTLEY, BROOKS & DUNN, JAMIE FOXX, FAITH HILL, JACK INGRAM, ALAN JACKSON, JAMEY JOHNSON, TOBY KEITH, MIRANDA LAMBERT, MARTINA MCBRIDE, TIM MCGRAW, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, JOHN RICH, LEANN RIMES, BLAKE SHELTON, SUGARLAND, TAYLOR SWIFT, KEITH URBAN and LEE ANN WOMACK.

STRAIT was named the “ACM Artist of the Decade” for the 2000s, joining only four other artists who have received this distinction, MARTY ROBBINS for the 1960s, LORETTA LYNN for the 1970s, ALABAMA for the 1980s and GARTH BROOKS for the 1990s.
