In silent STA filings, JOHN C. TRENT, acting receiver for PEREGON COMMUNICATIONS, is asking for permission to take WQVA-A/LEXINGTON, SC off the air due to transmitter problems; and BALDRIDGE-DUMAS COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has taken KWLA-A/MANY, LA off the air due to financial hardship.
And in a new station filing, BRET D. HUGGINS has applied for a new AM at 1120 in PERALTA, NM. The station would run 50,000 watts daytime, 28,000 watts in critical hours, and 250 watts at night.
