COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE’s JOSH THOMPSON, who is currently touring with ARISTA/NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY on his “H2O Tour,” has been headlining club shows of his own on his days off from the tour.
This past weekend, JOSH played his first-ever sold out headlining date at THE CABOOZE in MINNEAPOLIS, where he was greeted by an over-capacity crowd. Only two other acts have sold-out the venue in the past.
JOSH’s crowd sang along to every song he played, including his current single, “Way Out Here.” After his set, the audience demanded an encore, and JOSH played a brand-new song that he had just written two weeks before. By the end of the song, the crowd was singing along to the chorus.
THOMPSON said, “As a songwriter and an artist, the biggest payoff you can get is watching people sing your lyrics back at you.”
