Lilith Fair Cancels Dates Due To Low Ticket Demand

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY is reporting that due to lack of demand, the 2010 LILITH FAIR, once one of the hottest tickets of the summer concert season, has cancelled at least 10 dates. Cities that are affected include AUSTIN, DALLAS, CHARLOTTE, TAMPA, SALT LAKE CITY and others. 

The article cites poor sales and defecting artists as the reason for some of the cancellations. The FAIR was reconstituted this year by artist SARAH McLACHLAN. Big name acts such as KELLY CLARKSON and NORAH JONES have pulled out of some of the dates.
