Chuck Wicks To Represent Nashville At LA Grammy Block Party

RCA/NASHVILLE artist CHUCK WICKS will be representing NASHVILLE as the sole Country artist performing at the LOS ANGELES CHAPTER GRAMMY BLOCK PARTY on JULY 31st, which will serve as a fundraiser for the MUSICARES NASHVILLE FLOOD RELIEF FUND.
WICKS said: “Being asked to play the GRAMMY BLOCK PARTY is such an honor! I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with so many talented musicians and artists that love playing music as much as I do! I was humbled when I found out, and I’m excited to represent country music out in L.A.!”
With musician RICKEY MINOR as musical director, the performers will also include CHARICE, RAPHAEL SAADIQ, AKACASSIDY and LA SANTA CECILIA.
The event is open to RECORDING ACADEMY members and guests attending with members. The four-hour show begins at 3p (PT) at the RECORDING ACADEMY’s SANTA MONICA location at 3030 Olympic Blvd, with parking available at 3003 Exposition Blvd.
Admission for members is $30 through JULY 30th and $40 at the door. Non-members attending with a member may do so for $50 through JULY 30th and $60 at the door. Children under 12 may attend free. For tickets, call (310) 314-8281.
