WUSF Reporter Wins Rosalynn Carter Fellowship

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA noncommercial WUSF-F/TAMPA reporter BOBBIE O'BRIEN is one of six American recipients of ROSALYNN CARTER Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism from the CARTER CENTER. O'BRIEN's fellowship will allow her to report on "mental health issues among military members and spouses undergoing multiple deployments in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars."
Other U.S. recipients include freelance journalists ANN HEPPERMANN and NANCY SOLOMON, AP's KIMBERLY HEFLING, filmmaker BENJAMIN SELKOW, and the freelance journalism and photography team of JOCELYN ZUCKERMAN and RAMIN TALALE.
