Taylor Swift Announces Details Of New Album

BIG MACHINE star TAYLOR SWIFT announced TODAY (7/20), via her live USTEAM video chat (NET NEWS 7/15), that she will release her new album on OCTOBER 25th. The album will feature 14 songs written by TAYLOR with no co-writers and will be called “Speak Now.” TAYLOR co-produced the album with NATHAN CHAPMAN.

The first single, “Mine,” is expected to be released on AUGUST 16th.

TAYLOR said: “Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person.”
