KXTE Puts Listeners In Control With 'Resistance Radio'

CBS RADIO Alternative KXTE (X107.5)/LAS VEGAS has added "RESISTANCE RADIO" powered by JELLI to its on-air lineup MONDAY-SATURDAY from 9p-mid hosted by night jock BEAN.
Using JELLI, a web-based game, listeners can search a catalog of songs and vote moment-by-moment for which ones they want to hear and also vote down the songs they want deleted from the playlist, even mid-song. Players can quickly propel a song to the top of a playlist or knock it off completely. All the songs are chosen instantly by the online community -- the next song to be played is selected only seconds before it goes on the air.
"X107.5 and JELLI are bringing radio democracy to LAS VEGAS, giving every listener a vote and a voice in the music we play," said KXTE PD CHRIS RIPLEY. "Crowdsourcing puts listeners in control. It’s fun for music fans and a great way for us to keep a finger on the pulse of our listeners."
JELLI CEO MIKE DOUGHERTY said, "LAS VEGAS music fans are in for a treat. "They get the keys to KXTE’s RESISTANCE RADIO and a real, live connection to the LAS VEGAS music community.”
