Five students have been named recipients of 2010 BAYLISS RADIO SCHOLARSHIPS from the JOHN BAYLISS BROADCAST FOUNDATION. Each of the students, selected because of academic achievement and extracurricular radio activities, will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
The recipients are ITHACA COLLEGE's JESSICA BRANDT, SETON HALL's CAITLIN DUFFY, FIVE TOWNS COLLEGE's THURMON HENRY, SAN FRANCISCO STATE's DALLAS OSBORN, and SYRACUSE U.'s MARINA ZARYA.
"We are thrilled to be able to underwrite a portion of these young broadcasters’ educational expenses in light of the fundraising challenges faced by foundations today," said BAYLISS FOUNDATION Chairman GARY FRIES. "Individual and corporate donations helped make these awards possible."
