Cumulus Louisville Combo Goes Dark

ALL ACCESS hears that CUMULUS Classic Hits WLCL (CLASSIC HITS 93.9) and Sports WQKC-A (1450 THE TICKET)/LOUISVILLE have gone dark, with no indication if it's for good or not, although the stations' websites now redirect to CUMULUS' corporate site. The stations' signals went off the air midday TODAY (8/2). 

CUMULUS co-COO JOHN DICKEY told ALL ACCESS, "Those stations were part of the SUSQUEHANNA portfolio, and they were not core stations for us and facilitated an upgrade of one of our INDIANAPOLIS FM's. As a byproduct we're going to be selling them to a non-comm shortly and they will bring them back out in a different direction."
