Salem Sells KXMX/Los Angeles To Korean Gospel Broadcasting Network

SALEM COMMUNICATIONS' NEW INSPIRATION BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. is selling Brokered Ethnic KXMX-A/ANAHEIM-LOS ANGELES to KOREAN GOSPEL BROADCASTING NETWORK for $12 million. The buyer presently brokers daytime hours (5a-6p PT) MONDAY-SATURDAY on the station.
In other deals filed with the FCC, the paperwork for the previously announced deal in which BIG TOE COMMUNICATIONS LLC is buying PEORIA stations Classic Hits WHPI (HIPPIE RADIO 101.1)/GLASFORD, IL, Sports WZPN (965 ESPN RADIO)/FARMINGTON, IL, Top 40 WPIA (98.5 KISS FM)/EUREKA, IL, and Alternative WWCT (99.9 THE BUZZ)/BENTONVILLE, IL from INDEPENDENCE MEDIA HOLDINGS LLC is $1 million plus an LMA before closing.
