New Owner For KRLV-KLAV/Las Vegas

BURKEN BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Spanish Talk KRLV-A and Brokered KLAV-A/LAS VEGAS to HEMISPHERE MEDIA, LLC for $18,000 and assumption of debt to DRAYCOTT CAPITAL PARTNERS, LLC.
In a technical filing with the FCC, CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. is applying for a new AM at ANCHORAGE, AK. THe new facility would run 10,000 watts full-time nondirectional at 1470 AM.
FNX BROADCASTING, LLC has applied to the FCC for a Silent STA for its WPHX-A/SANFORD, ME, which went dark on JULY 23rd due to a malfunctioning transmitter. The company says it will need to buy and install a new transmitter to return the station to the air.
COCHISE BROADCASTING LLC has applied for a Silent STA for KWWY and KTWY/SHOSHONI, WY, KGRK/GLENROCK, WY, KXWY/HUDSON, WY, and KCYA/ROLLING HILLS, WY, saying that the company is "diligently pursuing programming arrangements for its three FM stations in the CASPER, WY market and three FM stations in the RIVERTON, WY market, and had intended to return the stations to the air by AUGUST 9th, 2010. This process is taking more time than was expected ... COCHISE expects to be able to return the station to the air within the next few weeks."
