Oz Is Back At 91X!

Former COMPASS BROADCASTING Triple A KPRI/SAN DIEGO MD/afternooner OZ MEDINA has returned to crosstown LOCAL MEDIA OF AMERICA Alternative XTRA (91X) for MUSIC IN THE MORNING WITH OZ replacing THE 91X MORNING SHOW WITH MAT DIABLO who exited mornings back in MAY. OZ previously was at 91X as MD/on-air from 1987-1993.

91X PD CAPONE said, "In the beginning of MAY, 91X made the strategic decision to offer 'An Alternative To Morning Radio.' Of course, even a music show needs a host --someone to intimately connect with the audience, provide relevant music & lifestyle information, etc. That person absolutely MUST fit the culture, the lifestyle, the special swagger that defines 91X. Simply put, not just anyone can turn on the microphone and host 'Music In The Morning.' Not to the standards we demand, anyway.
