During the last two months, CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KTBZ (94.5 THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON morning show "THE ROD RYAN SHOW" and BULLSHIRTS raised $40,000 for HOUSTON CHILDREN’S CHARITIES BACK 2 SCHOOL program from THE ROD RYAN SHOW CARES online store sales. YESTERDAY (8/18), 2,000 backpacks stuffed with supplies were distributed to kids for the new school year.
RYAN said "For about 95% of the people in this building YESTERDAY was just another TUESDAY, not knowing that some of their own were pulling off the biggest backpack drive in the state of TEXAS ... but for the four members of our show, the last few days have been unbelievably rewarding. I joke all the time but we are truly blessed to be able to use our jobs in this capacity!"
