MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Alternative WVIC (94.1 THE EDGE)/LANSING has joined the WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball network.
"WVIC 94.1 FM is a huge addition to our network extending our football and men's basketball over the air coverage further east for our many fans and alums in mid MICHIGAN," said WMU Assistant Athletic Director and radio play-by-play voice ROBIN HOOK. "MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS is a great broadcast partner and we are excited to add another powerful FM signal to our network of stations."
"What a great way to begin our affiliation with the BRONCO RADIO NETWORK. WMU fans will be able to tailgate around SPARTAN STADIUM on SEPTEMBER 4 and listen to the BRONCO broadcast on 94.1 FM THE EDGE when WMU opens the 2010 football season at MICHIGAN STATE," said MIDWEST LANSING Market Manager SCOTT TRUMAN. "We are excited to be able to bring BRONCO football and basketball to the many WMU fans and alums in our listening area."
WVIC sister Talk WKZO-A-F/KALAMAZOO is the flagship for the BRONCO RADIO NETWORK.
