POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE RADIO, INC. is selling noncommercial Contemporary Christian WJCN (CPIRIT FM)/NASSAWADOX, VA to HAMPTON ROADS EDUCATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS ASSOC., INC. for $237,000 and a lease for the seller's FM translator W261CN/WILLIAMSBURG, VA.

In closings filed with the FCC, BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP Chairman and CEO GEORGE BEASLEY's GGB LAS VEGAS, LLC has closed on the purchase of Rhythmic AC/Oldies KOAS and Alternative KVGS (107.9 THE ALTERNATIVE)/LAS VEGAS from RIVIERA BROADCAST GROUP, LLC for $8.5 million, with the stations managed by BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP's LAS VEGAS cluster; the transaction by which BORDER MEDIA turned its arrangement with SIMMONS MEDIA Sports KZNX-A (ESPN AUSTIN) and Spanish Sports KWNX-A (ESPN DEPORTES 1260)/AUSTIN into a purchase for $1.935 million has closed; COLLEGE CREEK MEDIA, LLC has closed on the sale of Hot AC KRPX (95.3 THE PEAK)/WELLINGTON, UT to EASTERN UTAH BROADCASTING COMPANY for $300,000 under an option granted in 2005; and CALVARY CHAPEL OF PORTLAND has closed on the sale of the construction permit for noncommercial WRKJ/WESTBROOK, ME to WORD RADIO EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION for $5,000.
