The FCC has opened a Further Inquiry into two issues raised in the GOOGLE-VERIZON proposal for Net Neutrality.
The Commission is asking for comments on "managed" or "specialized" services sharing the "last-mile" facilities as broadband Internet access service, which the GOOGLE-VERIZON plan would exempt from Net Neutrality rules, and the application of Net Neutrality to mobile wireless broadband, which the plan also exempted.
Comments will be due 30 days after publication of the notice in the Federal Register, with replies due 55 days after publication.
