Voiceover goddess ROBIN MARSHALL has written her first book, "Is This Thing On?," which showcases the real-time nightmares that happen with disk jockeys while on the air, and the way they handled each situation. It's already now one of BARNES AND NOBLE’s best selling books.
MARSHALL uses her 25 years of experience as a radio jock on New York’s airwaves. She and 150 other jocks have shared their stories, including famous radio personalities such as JOEL DENVER, DICK SUMMER, TED DAVID and many more. The book also includes more than 60 noteworthy freehand illustrations by her son, teenage graphic designer DYLAN BAUVER.
MARSHALL is now prepping for her second book entitled "Twenty-Five Years on the Air in NYC ... and Nobody Knows my Name!"
"Is This Thing On?" is available at www.barnesandnoble.com, www.amazon.com and is available in color at www.robinmarshall.com/book.html. She and her son have decided to donate 40% of the proceeds to the ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ to help children with life-threatening medical conditions.
