Radio Hall Of Fame Announces '06 Nominees

The NATIONAL RADIO HALL OF FAME has announced its 2006 nominees. The winners will be inductes into the CHICAGO institution on NOVEMBER 4.
The nominees are:
-Network or Syndicated Personality, Active: ABC's BOB BRINKER, retired CBS NEWS anchor CHRISTOPHER GLENN, COX/JONES' CLARK HOWARD, and NPR host and jazz pianist MARIAN MCPARTLAND
-Network or Syndicated Personality, Pioneer: JIMMY DURANTE, CBS NEWS' DOUGLAS EDWARDS, PHIL HARRIS and ALICE FAYE, and sportscaster GRAHAM MCNAMEE
-Local or Regional Personality, Active: XEPRS-A-F (THE MIGHTY DOUBLE X SPORTS RADIO)/SAN DIEGO PADRES broadcaster and former NEW YORK YANKEES infielder JERRY COLEMAN, WCKG (105.9 FREE FM)/CHICAGO's STEVE DAHL, WDEF/CHATTANOOGA's LUTHER MASSINGALE, and WPLJ/NEW YORK's SCOTT SHANNON
-Local or Regional Personality, Pioneer: WHDH/BOSTON's JESS CAIN, KVIL and KLUV/DALLAS' RON CHAPMAN, longtime OAKLAND A's, OAKLAND/LOS ANGELES RAIDERS and SAN FRANCISCO/GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS voice BILL KING, and WNEW-A/NEW YORK's WILLIAM B. WILLIAMS
