Kidd Kraddick Listener Donates Kidney

In an epic display of humanity, a KIDD KRADDICK listener will donate one of his kidneys to another KIDD KRADDICK listener. GAIL MOTEN will receive that kidney on DECEMBER 6th, 2010
It all started when KIDD KRADDICK in the Morning member PSYCHO SHANON was giving free, full-service fill-ups at an area 7-11. The only person who took her up on the offer was a woman named GAIL MOTEN. Who soon confided that she needed a kidney transplant.
Listening to that remote was ARMY National Guardsman Sgt. BRANDON VANCE, 26, who just returned from a stint in IRAQ. SGT. VANCE followed through with his commitment to donate one of his kidneys, reasoning that this was his way to thank all the cast members of KIDD KRADDICK in the Morning for helping him get through his deployment (his family would send him tapes of the show).
On a phone interview with KIDD KRADDICK today, VANCE noted that he has since met Ms. MOTEN, but they are in contact weekly. "There have been a ton of people that’ve tried to talk me out of it," Sgt. VANCE said, "but you know when this whole thing happened, I just felt like it was something I had to do. My mind was made up that very day."
