SALEM COMMUNICATIONS' INSPIRATION MEDIA, INC. is selling Regional Mexican KKMO-A (EL REY 1360)/TACOMA-SEATTLE to SEA-MAR COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER for $2.7 million. A previous deal to sell the station for $3.69 million in 2008 was never consummated.
In other deals filed with the FCC, NEW RADIO VENTURE, INC. is selling Spanish Talk KNRV-A/ENGLEWOOD-DENVER, CO and KNUV-A/TOLLESON-PHOENIX, AZ to AMIGO MULTIMEDIA, INC. for assumption of debt. The seller went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008.
The price for METRO RADIO's purchase of Talk WTNT-A (formerly Spanish Sports WXTR-A (ESPN DEPORTES RADIO 730)/ALEXANDRIA, VA-WASHINGTON, DC from RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING is $1.5 million plus an LMA before closing, according to the contract filed with the sale application at the FCC.
And HISPANIC FAMILY CHRISTIAN NETWORK, INC. is selling FM translator K218CU/DELPHI, WA to IGLESIA PENTECOSTAL VISPERIA DEL FIN for $90,000.
Nashville Noncomm Sold
TREVECCA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY has sold its FM stations in middle TENNESSEE, including Contemporary Christian WNAZ/NASHVILLE, WNRZ/DICKSON, W230AD/GALLATIN, W270AB/LEBANON, and W258AD/CLARKSVILLE, to BOTT RADIO NETWORK for $2 million. JOHN PIERCE AND CO. served as broker for the deal. The seller sold its Religion WENO-A/NASHVILLE to RUSS JONES' ANCHOR BROADCASTING for $335,000 last week.
