CMA Awards Post Party Info Announced

Details about the after party for the 44th Annual CMA AWARDS, which airs on ABC-TV at 8p (ET) live from the BRIDGESTONE ARENA in NASHVILLE, have been announced.

The party, which takes place after the award show has wrapped, will be held at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER with a “PICASSO-inspired” theme.

CMA SVP BOBETTE DUDLEY said: "Each year our CMA AWARDS POST PARTY is an event to remember, and this year is no exception. I applaud our fantastic team that embraces the challenge year after year to create a unique and memorable event experience that brings CMA AWARDS week to a close."

Coordinated by CMA Sr. Manager of Meetings and Events DIANE BEARDEN, the planning and creative team also includes JOE SMITH of ILEX for Flowers, CAROL HODGE of VISUAL ELEMENTS, OVATIONS FOOD SERVICE, BANDIT LITES, SPECTRUM SOUND, MOO TV, and the staff at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER. 

This year's after party will feature live music from 11-piece band the ATLANTA ALLSTARS. There will also be intimate lounge areas, a VIP room, food service and a signature JACK DANIEL's beverage.

New at this year's post party will be a silent auction area where attendees can bid on many one-of-a-kind items including JACK DANIEL's GIBSON guitar sculpture autographed by stars participating in this year's awards show, autographed portions of the Black Carpet, tickets to several BROADWAY musicals at TPAC, autographed memorabilia and a VIP day with CHEVY RACING at the 2011 BRICKYARD 400. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING, CMA's music education campaign.
