WSMV.com is reporting that CLEAR CHANNEL Country WSIX/NASHVILLE longtime morning personality GERRY HOUSE, who will officially retire DECEMBER 15th (NET NEWS 9/3), has musical dreams after his morning show ends.
HOUSE said: "I want to write a musical. I want to do that. I've already written 12 songs for a musical. I want to write the book and do the whole thing. I'm a big fan of BROADWAY; I want to take a shot at it."
Although he will miss doing the show with his co-host MIKE BOHAN, he has no regrets and looks forward to a life of leisure and not waking up at 3a.
He added: "My life has been so structured down to the minute, down to the second, I would like to just try at least for a year -- I may be miserable and want to come back -- I want to show up at 10:30 or 11 o'clock (and) say, 'Does anybody have any coffee?' 'Let's write a song,' or 'Let's go play golf.'"
