Bankruptcy Court Judge KEVIN CAREY sent four competing TRIBUNE CO. reorganization plans back for editing and revision pending a DECEMBER 6th hearing, reports the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.
CAREY's move came after a MONDAY hearing in which CAREY told the combatants that he needed help wading through the competing plans and that the fiery statements accompanying the plans should be edited to make them more appropriate for the occasion.
CAREY also said that he would attach a statement with the plans to inform shareholders which plans the court will endorse.
