NEXTMEDIA Country WCEN (94.5 THE MOOSE)/SAGINAW has added country musician BOBBY RANDALL to its airstaff. From mid-MICHIGAN, RANDALL is a former member of SAWYER BROWN and has played with KENNY ROGERS and CONFEDERATE RAILROAD in addition to being a host for TNN's You Can Be A Star.
"I'm proud to say that at a time when a lot of other stations are cutting back, we actually created a new position and added to our air staff by bringing BOBBY aboard," said PD JOBY PHILLIPS.
Additionally, THE MOOSE rallied around mid-MICHIGAN 7-year old JAYDEN -- who celebrated his birthday while having chemo treatments at ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL.
JAYDEN had a 9-inch tumor removed from his spine and is receving treatments for brain tumors. After a plea was put out by morning hosts JIM BIGGINS & JODI K, young JAYDEN received over 1,000 birthday cards. JAYDEN recently finished his chemo treatments and video of his "No More Chemo" party are on THE MOOSE FaceBook Fan Page.
