HANK ADAM LOCKLIN has been appointed as the Interim Director of the ALABAMA MUSIC HALL OF FAME. LOCKLIN took the post on DECEMBER 13th. The board of directors continues its search for a permanent director.
LOCKLIN told ALABAMA’s TIMES DAILY: “It is an honor and pleasure to be a part of the staff at the ALABAMA MUSIC HALL OF FAME. I look forward to working with everyone, including the board of directors, to advance this wonderful attraction throughout the state of ALABAMA and the country.”
LOCKLIN is also is a member of the volunteer search committee that is helping the board find a new Executive Director. The hall of fame, a state entity, has been without a full-time Executive Director since DAVID JOHNSON exited in APRIL.
LOCKLIN spent seven years at the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION in NASHVILLE. He left that position in 2004. Before joining the CMA, LOCKLIN worked with BROWNLEE FERGUSON and BLUEWATER MUSIC GROUP.
