A KENTUCKY judge has dismissed a libel suit filed by CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI weekend host and former night host ERIC DETERS against another attorney based on TWITTER and FACEBOOK posts made by the other lawyer.
The CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's Northern KENTUCKY edition reports that KENTON Circuit Court Judge MARTIN SHEEHAN dismissed the case DETERS filed against KENTON Commonwealth's Attorney ROB SANDERS, who had tweeted comments referring to reports an $11 million defamation suit DETERS won representing a CINCINNATI BENGALS cheerleader might be nullified because the wrong defendant was sued.
The judge ruled that SANDERS was expressing his opinion in a constitutionally protected manner and told SANDERS and DETERS, paraphrasing RODNEY KING, to end their feud ("I just want to say, you know, can't we all get along?").
