January 10, 2011 at 9:01 AM (PT)
REDNECK RECORDS artist GRETCHEN WILSON smoked what she vowed to be her last cigarette this past NEW YEAR'S EVE at her show in ROSENBERG, TX. A crowd of 1,000 fans watched as GRETCHEN made her proclamation, and after the show she threw away her remaining cigarettes, lighters and ashtrays.
REDNECK RECORDS' BOB MITCHELL tells ALL ACCESS that she is still doing great, keeping her vow so far in 2011 to kick the nicotine habit. Click here to read more from THE BOOT.
MITCHELL also says that GRETCHEN's GRAMMY-nominated song "I'd Love To Be Your Last," which can be found on her latest album, "I Got Your Country Right Here," will be shipped as her next single to Country radio in the coming weeks. The twocut CD single will feature the original version of the song from the album, in addition to a radio remix that features additional instrumentation.
