Entercom Buys KUFX

ENTERCOM is buying a CLEAR CHANNEL spinoff in the BAY AREA, picking up Classic Rock KUFX (98.5 KFOX)/SAN JOSE and its boosters in SANTA CRUZ, MORGAN HILL and PLEASANTON from the ALOHA STATION TRUST for $9 million plus an LMA before closing. ENTERCOM presently owns three other stations in the BAY AREA, including Country KBWF (95.7 THE WOLF), AC KOIT and Classical KDFC.
In another deal filed with the FCC, EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W219DF/MARSHFIELD, WI to AMERICUS COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $20,000.
And CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WJWR/BLOOMINGTON, IL.
