KUOW's Marcia Scholl Elected Chair Of DEI Board

DEI (THE DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE, INC.), the organization helping public radio stations in fundraising development issues, has elected UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON/PUGET SOUND PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial KUOW/SEATTLE Assistant GM MARCIA SCHOLL as Chair of the DEI Board of Directors. SCHOOL takes over from UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA noncommercial Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA GM ROGER LAMAY, who is completing his second term on the board and two years as Board Chair, and who will continue as advisor to the board through JULY.
Also elected to board officer positions were noncommercial KPBS-F and PBS affiliate KPBS-TV/SAN DIEGO GM TOM KARLO as Vice-Chair; MARCUS THOMAS, LLC partner JOANNE KIM to continue as Secretary; and VERMONT PUBLIC RADIO President ROBIN TURNAU as Treasurer.
Elected to the Board for the first time was CAPITOL BROADCASTING ASSOCIATION Classical KMFA/AUSTIN GM JOAN KOBAYASHI.
