WORD ENTERTAINMENT and 25 LIVE are re-launching the GIRLS OF GRACE CONFERENCES in partnership with ONEVERSE. The conference will be hosted by POINT OF GRACE and will kick off FEBRUARY 19th in NASHVILLE.
“At times girls feel like they are the only ones who struggle with certain issues,” says POINT OF GRACE member DENISE JONES. “With a GIRLS OF GRACE CONFERENCE it gives them the opportunity to come together in a large group and realize that we all have our own struggles, and yet, we are in this together.”
The conference was founded in 2002 by POINT OF GRACE and grew out of the group's desire to bring teenage girls together to talk about issues that affect them and to share that a relationship with Christ is a true source of peace and assurance in their lives.
“We consider it an honor to be working along side the girls in POINT OF GRACE to not only continue the ministry that they started but to ensure that these events happen on a more frequent basis,” says 25 LIVE VP/Touring and Live Events DAVID BREEN. “Over the years, we have continued to receive phone calls, emails and letters from teen girls, mothers and youth pastors nationwide saying that they need this event for their girls and to please bring it to their communities. Our plan is to have 12-15 state wide events each year in regions that touch each part of the country.”
The conference will feature guest speakers including CONSTANCE RHODES, CHRIS WHEELER and AMBER LEHMAN and performances by MEREDITH ANDREWS, JASON CASTRO, DARA McLEAN, POINT OF GRACE and SATELLITES & SIRENS. Tickets are $50 or $80 for a mother/daughter pair and on-sale now. For additional information and to register, visit www.girlsofgrace.com.
