Official: Stephen A. Smith Returns To ESPN For N.Y., L.A. Radio Shows

STEPHEN A. SMITH's return to ESPN is now official with word from the network that the former PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER columnist will launch separate two-hour local talk shows for ESPN Sports WEPN-A (1050 ESPN)/NEW YORK and KSPN-A (710 ESPN)/LOS ANGELES. The NEW YORK show will air weekdays 7-9p (ET), and the LOS ANGELES show will air weekdays 6-8p (PT). SMITH will also cover NBA All-Star events and The Finals on ESPN RADIO and will serve as a featured ESPN.com columnist, writing regularly for ESPNLA.com and ESPNNY.com.
"STEPHEN A. consistently offers strong opinions on a wide variety of topics," said EVP/, Production NORBY WILLIAMSON. "He has a proven track record as an authoritative voice, which will lead to insightful conversation leading into KNICKS and LAKERS game coverage."

SMITH was with ESPN from 2003 through 2008, and hosted a show on ESPN RADIO in 2005-08. He hosted mornings at FOX SPORTS RADIO in 2010.
