KPSI's Stan Layne Retiring

R&R BROADCASTING Talk KPSI-A/PALM SPRINGS host STAN LAYNE is retiring after 40 years at the station effective FRIDAY (2/11), reports the DESERT SUN. LAYNE, who started as a DJ at KPSI in 1970, will continue his work as a family therapist in PALM SPRINGS and Adjunct Psychology Professor at COLLEGE OF THE DESERT in PALM DESERT.
Meanwhile, the "COACHELLA VALLEY REPORT" with STEVE KELLY, presently 8-9a as "THE DESERT TODAY," will expand to three hours to fill LAYNE's 6-8a slot.
