February 10, 2011 at 8:30 AM (PT)
CLEAR CHANNEL Country WDXB (102.5 THE BULL)/BIRMINGHMAM morning personalities DOLLAR BILL and MADISON are hosting the "Hooty Hoo" marshmallow contest, where a lucky listener will have the chance to meet CAPITOL/NASHVILLE artist DARIUS RUCKER and get a free overnight stay at THE SHERATON hotel in downtown BIRMINGHAM.
Four listeners who previously qualified for the contest will gather at THE BULL studios (located at 600 Beacon Parkway West in BIRMINGHAM) between 6:30a and 6:45a (CT) to stuff their mouths with as many marshmallows as possible and then say the phrase, "Hooty Hoo," named for DARIUS' previous band, HOOTIE & THE BLOWFISH. The listener who can fit the most marshmallows in their mouth and still say the keywords will win the grand prize.
The four qualified listeners have already won tickets to see ARISTA/NASHVILLE star BRAD PAISLEY at the BJCC (BIRMINGHAM JEFFERSON CONVENTION COMPLEX) TOMORROW (2/11).
DOLLAR BILL said: “I don’t think there has ever been more at stake during a chubby bunny contest. We may be the first station to award a prize based on mouth capacity, and we’re proud to break new ground in the radio industry.”
