Man Calls Paul Finebaum Show While Having Heart Attack
February 10, 2011 at 3:46 PM (PT)
Sports radio callers have a reputation for being unusually intense, but a caller to PAUL FINEBAUM's syndicated CITADEL Sports WJOX/BIRMINGHAM show went above and beyond the call of sanity by phoning in while in the hospital having a heart attack.
The caller, "SMOKEY," put the emergency room nurse from TRINITY MEDICAL CENTER on the line to confirm that he was listening to the show while getting an EKG "because I love you, PAUL." "SMOKEY" said that he has had five bypasses before this episode.
