Former PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES shortstop and manager LARRY BOWA is joining GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-F (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA for the baseball season. BOWA, who is also a studio analyst for MLB NETWORK, will co-host the station's new BRIAN BALDINGER and HARRY MAYES 10a-noon (ET) show on MONDAYS, and will join MAYES and TONY BRUNO at 12:30p (ET) on TUESDAYS. On FRIDAYS, BOWA will sit in with MIKE MISSANELLI at 3:20p.
"LARRY brings a uniquely distinct perspective to our station," said PD MATT NAHIGIAN. “He understands PHILADELPHIA. He gets it. He loves it. He lives it. And that, in my opinion, is why the fans love him."
"I am truly excited to join THE FANATIC," said BOWA. "There is an energy and atmosphere at THE FANATIC that I really enjoy. This 2011 PHILLIES season has the chance to be one for the ages. To talk about it all season with the fans will be a lot of fun."
