CAPITOL RECORDS/NASHVILLE artist DARIUS RUCKER will hold his second annual "DARIUS AND FRIENDS" benefit concert on MONDAY, JUNE 6th, again taking place the week of CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL at the WILDHORSE SALOON in DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE.
The first year, the events raised $48,000 for ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL. RUCKER is hoping to better that amount with this year’s show.
"It's extremely important to me to grow our annual benefit for ST. JUDE as I pledged to help each year with their fundraising efforts," said RUCKER. "CMA MUSIC FEST is a great time to host the event because we reach so many of our core fans and ST. JUDE supporters."
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to ST. JUDE and performers will be announced at a later date.
DARIURRUCKER.COM members will have early access to tickets beginning MARCH 23rd, with sales opening to the general public on MARCH 25th. Tickets may be purchased at the WILDHORSE SALOON or at www.ticketmaster.com.
