KUSS Names Cindy Spicer As PD

CLEAR CHANNEL Country KUSS/SAN DIEGO has announced that CINDY SPICER is the new PD. SPICER, who has been at KUSS for the past 3-years, will also continue on the morning show as host as well.

“Well I didn’t have enough on my plate so I’m so grateful CLEAR CHANNEL gave me more work to do,” said SPICER. “Seriously, this is an amazing opportunity and I’m looking forward to connecting the NEW COUNTRY 95-7 brand more closely with our listeners and the SAN DIEGO community. I am also excited to be working closely with President/Market Manager, DEBBIE WAGNER and Operations Manager & Director of Programming, JIMMY STEELE in expanding our cluster’s market reach. 

CINDY SPICER’s radio career spans over 15 years, with a resume that includes programming and air talent positions in SAN DIEGO, HOUSTON and DENVER. Her format background includes Top 40, Rock, Hot AC and Country.

SPICER and STEELE had been sharing programming duties since the departure of former PD BILL PUGH last JUNE.
