CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO has extended the contract of Top 40 KHKS (106.1 KISS-FM)/DALLAS morning maven and syndicated wakeup man KIDD KRADDICK for four more years. The company also announced that they would be carrying KRADDICK's new Pop culture countdown show, THE HOLLYWOOD 5, widely throughout the company.
"KIDD KRADDICK and KHKS/DALLAS are the perfect match, and renewing our contract to keep him at home with us was an easy decision," said CCR Western EVP/Operations SUSAN KARIS. "We’re very excited that KRADDICK's fans can continue to jump-start their day with him every weekday morning and will be able to tune into 'THE HOLLYWOOD 5' for their weekend pop culture fix. This is a great example of CLEAR CHANNEL's commitment to invest in the most talented personalities and deliver the best shows to our listeners."
"For the first time in my life I feel like DEREK JETER," said KRADDICK. "I mean, I guess I could go to another team, but it just wouldn't feel right. This has been my home for almost 20 years. Now with SUSAN KARIS on board, along with KELLY KIBLER as Market Manager and PATRICK DAVIS, the best Top 40 PD in the business, I feel really good about our future. I'm so excited to be staying where I am. We're going to do some great things together."
