HOME FIELD COMMUNICATIONS' plans for Religion KOLB/FIRTH-LINCOLN, NE, purchased in FEBRUARY from VSS CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (NET NEWS 2/7), have been revealed, as HOME FIELD principal and former THREE EAGLES COMMUNICATIONS/LINCOLN GM JAMES D. KECK tells the LINCOLN JOURNAL-STAR that the station will run a Sports format as KNTK (93.7 THE TICKET).
The new station will include FOX SPORTS RADIO programming, including DAN PATRICK's show, and ST. LOUIS CARDINALS baseball.
It will debut in mid-JUNE, according to KECK, who is partnered with RON ROMERO in the venture. KECK's old cluster has what is the market's only other Sports station, KLMS-A (ESPN 1480).
