KLIF's Jeff Bolton On-Air In Japan When Aftershock Hit
April 8, 2011 at 4:30 AM (PT)
CUMULUS Talk KLIF-A/DALLAS morning host JEFF BOLTON, in JAPAN to broadcast live from the quake-and-tsunami-devastated region, was on hand and live on the air THURSDAY when a 7.4 aftershock rattled SENDAI, triggering another tsunami warning (which was later rescinded).
"We shook for more than a minute in random directions from the quake that was again ... 180 miles to the north," BOLTON posted on the KLIF website. "It was extremely spooky. I haven't heard the audio, but I'm sure I sounded like a 12-year-old girl at the mall when I was live on air as it was happening. We're standing by for aftershocks and whatever is next."
BOLTON is posting video from JAPAN on the KLIF website this week while he accompanies military and aid workers as they help the victims of the disaster. See his reports by clicking here.
