San Francisco's 95.7 The Wolf Flips To Sports

ENTERCOM Country KBWF (95.7 THE WOLF)/SAN FRANCISCO has flipped to Sports as SPORTSRADIO 95.7 FM.  The format is launching with stunting including clips of local sports highlights, liners ("Your new home for sports," "Taking the BAY AREA by storm"), and "Jock Jams" like GARY GLITTER's "Rock and Roll (Part Two)."

The station recently became the flagship for OAKLAND ATHLETICS baseball; sister Classic Rock KUFX (98.5 THE FOX) has been the longtime flagship for SAN JOSE SHARKS hockey, which will air on the new 95.7.  Although the new lineup is yet to be confirmed, ALL ACCESS hears that former SPORTING NEWS RADIO and KHTK/SACRAMENTO host TIM MONTEMAYOR will hold down mornings and sister Rock KRXQ/SACRAMENTO morning co-hosts ROB WILLIAMS and ARNIE STATES, who do a midday show for Sports KCTC-A (ESPN RADIO 1320)/SACRAMENTO as well, will be heard on the new station 4-6p.
