CBS Proxy Statement Shows Les Moonves Made Almost $58 Million In 2010

CBS CORPORATION's proxy statement filed with the SEC on FRIDAY (4/15) reveals the salaries and compensation paid to the company's top officers, and it shows that Pres./CEO LESLIE MOONVES pulled in a total of $57,729,020 in compensation for 2010, including $3.513,462 in salary, a $27.5 million bonus, and the rest mostly in stock and option awards.
The figure is up from a total of $43,238,875 in 2009 and $21,167,470 in 2008.
Exec. Chairman SUMNER REDSTONE received a total package of $20,287,058 in 2010, up from $16,210,860 in 2009. REDSTONE's compensation included $1,638,461 in salary, $10 million in a bonus, and the rest mostly in stock and option awards.
EVP/CFO JOSEPH IANELLO's compensation totaled $10,783,784 in 2010, EVP/General Counsel LOUIS J. BRISKMAN's compensation hit $8,339,388, and EVP/HR and Administration ANTHONY G. AMBROSIO made $3,858,581.
