TRITON DIGITAL COO MIKE AGOVINO took to the company's FACEBOOK site to announce some name changes at the company, designed to simplify things. The changes include changing the name of the ANDO MEDIA GROUP and TRITON LOYALTY. Wrote AGOVINO:
"We launched TRITON DIGITAL in the SUMMER of 2006 with a vision of delivering the highest quality digital products and services to the radio industry. That vision quickly became reality as the market recognized the considerable opportunities offered by the Web and its influence on audience media consumption habits. Our responsibility as the leading digital resource for radio has led us to assemble key ingredients necessary to propel the medium forward. We've now integrated these pieces seamlessly into one platform, driven by one strategy and represented by one distinct brand. Our goal is simple: to make today's radio better and tomorrow's radio possible.
"Moving forward we will operate simply as TRITON DIGITAL. The former 'ANDO MEDIA GROUP' which was comprised of STREAMTHEWORLD, ANDO MEDIA and SPACIAL AUDIO is now TRITON DIGITAL STREAMING. This unit will continue under the leadership of President YVES ERIC LALIBERTE and Chief Technical Officer JEAN FRANCOIS GADOURY.
"The former 'TRITON LOYALTY' is now TRITON DIGITAL APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES. This unit will continue under the leadership of President CHRIS BELL and Chief Operating Officer MIKE BECKER. Applications and Services' offerings have expanded significantly to include our 'STICKYFISH,' 'FAN CLUB' and 'TRIBAL DIRECT' Loyalty products, as well as our 'FLEX' content management system, 'MXM' mobile platform and 'MUSIC NEWS' content.
"TRITON DIGITAL operates with over 250 professionals and a shared passion to innovate and grow our industry. Our TRITON DIGITAL R&D team is far and away the largest group in existence, developing technology for radio's future. Please visit our updated www.tritondigitalmedia.com site for more information.
