The TENNESSEAN ran a feature YESTERDAY (4/24) on some of NASHVILLE’s music industry executives who have found new roles after leaving one of NASHVILLE’s major labels. KEVIN HERRING, LORI MARTI, SHERRI HALFORD, MINDY TOBIN, DAVID MARCIAS, JIM FLAMMIA and BRYAN SWITZER are all profiled in the story.
HERRING, who joined independent label SKYVILLE RECORDS after the closing of DISNEY’s LYRIC STREET RECORDS, told the TENNESSEAN, ““I joked with my wife that part of me wants to move to the upper peninsula (in MICHIGAN) and open a SUBWAY. I probably considered that seriously for about a week. But I’m a promotion guy. This is what I do.”
