REACH MEDIA’s syndicated TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW responds to the recent storm struck areas in ALABAMA by airing a special live broadcast WEDNESDAY, MAY 4th from COX Urban AC WBHK (98.7 KISS)/BIRMINGHAM. The show has also reinstated BlackAmericaWeb.com “Disaster Relief Fund.” The fund has already begun accepting donations to aid the community needs in the storm affected areas.
Listeners are being directed to blackameriaweb.com to make donations and for more updated information on what JOYNER and his crew are doing to help.
“Whenever there’s a disaster that has an impact on our audience, directly or indirectly, they immediately look to us to help them,” said JOYNER. “They trust us with donations and we deliver what we promise. This time I’m going to my home state of ALABAMA where we’ll be making some of our deliveries in person.”
“We’re glad to have TOM come back to help out his native ALABAMA,” said DAVID DUBOSE, VP/Market Manger For COX MEDIA GROUP. “There’s still a lot of suffering in the greater BIRMINGHAM area and we appreciate TOM taking this opportunity to use his platform to help the devastated families.”
