The FCC has proposed a fine of $25,000 on A RADIO COMPANY, INC. for violating a Consent Decree regarding tower fencing and public file violations at WEGA-A/VEGA BAJA, PR. The licensee was supposed to pay a "voluntary contribution" of $8,000 to the U.S. Treasury to settle the violations, but the company's check bounced and the "voluntary contribution" has yet to be paid, and as a result a Compliance Report has yet to be filed.
In addition, RECARDO MILLWOOD has been hit with a proposed $20,000 fine for running a pirate station on 88.9 FM in the BRONX.
And the Commission approved a change in frequency for a vacant Class A FM allocation at BASTROP, LA, clearing the way for KENNETH W. DIEBEL's Southern Gospel KGGM/DELHI, LA to upgrade from Class A to Class C3 on a new frequency.
